QUICK OAT TRAYBAKE
6 oz self-raising flour
6 oz rolled porridge oats
¾ level teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
6 oz butter or margarine
6 oz granulated sugar
1½ rounded tablespoons golden syrup
dried fruit if required
11 x 7 inch shallow baking tin
Spread the mixture on the greased tray, bake for 15 minutes at 180°, cut into squares and leave in the tray to cool.
